Our Kennels

Coleacre Kennels and Cattery has been a family run boarding kennels since 1986. We can accommodate all breeds, shapes and sizes of dogs. At Coleacre our relaxed but professional attitude towards care ensures your dog will really feel at home. We try our best to fit into your routine at home be that walks,treats and feeding times so that there is as little disruption to your pet as possible. However we might try to sneak a few cuddles in here and there!

Light & Airy Accomodation: It goes without saying that hygiene is of utmost importance and all kennels are thoroughly scrubbed between residents and a cleaning routine is carried out with great attention to detail every day. Our kennels are all inside, with separate outside covered runs. We have both individual and family rooms so should you be as crazy about dogs as we are, your family can stay together. The kennels are all heated and we provide beds and bedding for your dog, but of course it’s sometimes nice to have a smell of home. Toy’s are always welcome especially their favourite’s as they come in handy for playtime.

Cole Acre Kennels and CatteryDaily Exercise: We exercise all our residents individually, unless part of a family, daily in our one acre fenced paddock at least twice a day. The exercise is fully supervised and we always love to play with them and their toys. We start early in the morning and during the day there is plenty of activity to keep your dog occupied.

 
Diet & Feeding: We generally feed once or twice a day depending upon your dog’s normal routine and can follow your specific instructions if needed. We have a variety of foods, and are stockists of Skinners Premium Pet Food, which is a dry complete food, either Chicken & Rice or Lamb & Rice (wheat and gluten free). We are also happy to feed what you bring in. Special diets and medication can be catered for, please let us know in advance.  
 
Loving Care & Attention: The care of your pet is paramount to us and we will do our utmost to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as posibble. We can bath and groom your dog while they are staying with us and will even make sure they are tucked in at bedtime with a treat or two. Our kennels are manned 24 hours a day so in the unlikely event of something happening we are always on hand to deal with it straight away. Our staff are animal first aid qualified and most medications can be administered on your behalf during their stay. In the very rare and unfortunate event of a dog becoming ill whilst staying at Coleacre we have a 24 hour vet on call. When your pets come to stay with us, please make sure that their vaccinations are up to date and that you bring the vaccination card with you. Please consult your vet in good time if you have any doubt about vaccinations. 
 
Why not consider treating your pet to a bath and brush up, giving them that bow wow factor for when it’s hometime.
 
FREE DAY TRIAL: We offer a free day trial for pets that have not been in kennels before. It helps us, and your pet, to get to know each other, and also when you collect your pet, they will know that you have not just ‘left them’. Overnight trials are also available. Unfortunately, we do not do day trials or overnight trials at weekend, especially during June to October.
